The PDF format

A standard created by Adobe Systems Incorporated, the Portable Document Format (PDF) allows files to retain their resolution at high magnification; this means you can always improve readability by zooming in on a section of a PDF page using the magnifying glass (found in the Acrobat Reader toolbar).

Additionally, you may zoom-in on most of the pages found in our excerpts merely by clicking somewhere within the page.
