How to Become a Member

Qualifications:
1) You must be 21 years old and either be a skier or have a sincere desire to learn to ski. *
* Complementary ski instruction is available to anyone who has
applied for membership.
Three Steps to becoming a regular member:
Step 1: Become an“Provisional Member ”
*Pay a $15, non-refundable, application fee.
*Sign
a liability waiver form.
*Agree
to attend one of the next 2 scheduled monthly membership meetings to fill
out required paperwork and to get more detailed information about the
club.
Step 2: Become a
“Regular” Member
Within a minimum of 3 months to 1 year (the “provisional year”) meet the following requirements:
*participate in 2 club-planned athletic activities, which can be either 2 ski activities or 1 ski activity and 1 other athletic acitivity
*perform a minimum of 8 hours of committee work
*Attend at least 4 scheduled regular Club meetings plus attend 4 additional club events, which may be either regularly scheduled Club meetings or Club sponsored social events that require signup for attendance.
*sponsorship by 2 regular members
*sponsorship by 1 Board member
Pay $40 annual dues.
Agree to attend a scheduled monthly membership meeting after completing
the above requirements.
To remain in good standing, Regular members are asked to meet the following requirements
*pay annual dues in October of each year
*attend at least 8 Club meetings per year
*participate in 2 ski activities each year
*volunteer on a committee every 2 years
*abide by the Constitution, By-Laws, and Rules of the Club
